You are welcome to bring your own camera, however, your guide will take several pictures along of you the way.

Directly from the charming historic center of Ilulissat, Greenland offers the possibility to do an activity that embraces all the wonders from this destination. In our Midnight Sun Kayaking you will paddle in a kayak (a Greenlandic typical mean of transport) while you witness the overwhelming beauty of icebergs coming from the Ilulissat Icefjord (UNESCO World Heritage Site). If that were not enough, you will do it under the light of the Midnight Sun, a natural phenomenon that only occurs above the Arctic Circle during summer.

Join us in a unique experience in Ilulissat (Greenland). There is no other place in the world where you will be able to put there three things together: Kayaking, the Ilulissat Icefjord and the Midnight Sun. Our departure point is situated in the historic center of the city, with outstanding views of the icebergs next to the Zion church and the historic qajaq club of Ilulissat (“qajaq is an originally Greenlandic word that means “kayak”).

The activity consists in kayaking along the coast of Ilulissat, from where you can see big icebergs coming from the Ilulissat Icefjord. You experience this breathtaking scenery in the most natural and traditional way. Just you and your kayak, paddling as Inuits used to do and some still do. Nonetheless all the safety measures are included: the best equipment in the market (clothing that enables you to swim in freezing waters and the most safe and stable kayaks) and if that were not enough, our kayak instructors have the highest qualifications and lots of experience kayaking in Arctic regions.

It is completely safe and everyone can do it. We adapt every activity to the requirements of our guests: experienced kayakers, people with no previous experience, different ages or disabled people. You can use your own camera if you want. However what's even better is, your guide will take many pictures along the excursion and send them to you, for free!

Join us on this guided hike from Kobber fiord to Nuuk Fjord through green low land, along a mountain lake until we descend upon the neighboring Nuuk Fjord - where the boat will pick us up and bring you back to Nuuk. This tour is for travelers who like a combination of physical activity and cruising.

We depart from Nuuk Harbour and start the tour with a short boat ride - approx. 30 min - to the Kobbe Fjord east of Nuuk. Half-way up the fjord, we will go ashore and begin our hike north-east toward Nuuk Fjord.
